About the Society
Met LGBT aims to get students together who identify themselves as Lesbian , Gay , Bisexual or Trans as well as those who are undecided and those who are attitude free! You will be able to meet all sorts of other people who define themselves as LGBT and will realise that everyone is unique and individual .
MET LGBT aims to:
- Support LGBT students at London Met
- Promote and represent the views and interests of LGBT students
- Campaign on LGBT issues
- Promote equality
- Be fun and inclusive!
Who can join?
- Anyone! – you don't have to identify yourself as lesbian, gay, bisexual or trans
- We do reserve the right to have meetings and events for student's who identify themselves as lesbian, gay, bisexual or trans
Why should I join?
- To meet other people who define themselves as LGBT
- To explore the social side of the LGBT community
- To get your views heard
- To gain more skills through workshops and activities
What we do:
- Organise social events
- Organise educational/campaigning events
- Provide a voice against homophobia and other discrimination
