This Thursday (13th November), Colin Neville from the University of Bradford is hosting a drop-in workshop on referencing at the Writing Centre (City Campus, Calcutta House, CMB-20). Colin has written a book on referencing and is an expert. If you have any questions at all about referencing and avoiding plagiarism, he will be able to answer them and he can help you with assignments you are working on and check that you are referencing in the correct way.

Colin will be here from 2.00-5.00 and you can drop in to see him at any time during this time. If you want to come, please let us know in advance by emailing us at writingcentre@londonmet.ac.uk or telephoning us on 020 7320 1211.

It is with great pleasure that I invite you to attend Youth@Pride meeting on 4th November 2008 at MLS Offices, 130 Shaftesbury Avenue - London. From 1830 to 2030

This will be the first meeting in preparation for the 2009 London Pride season.

It will also be at this point that we will elect a Chair. Any young person under the age of 25 who wishes to nominate themselves needs to write up to an A4 page (feel free to be as creative as you like) on why they think they would be good at the role and what they want to achieve. (All nomination forms should be either sent to me by close of business (4.30pm) on Tuesday 4th November or nominees should bring 25 copies with them).
