Met LGBT Update!

Issue 5, wow! Update: things going well but you all have to come to more events ;)

LGBT Awareness Week in February - any ideas for activities and events - email us! Ii want it to be a really good event.

Bar and Club Reviews - come on, I am offering you VIP entry to bars and clubs for reviews - one person has got back to me! This can work - I just need members to take up the offers ;)

Events this Week

Soho Pub Crawl
Meet at Trash Palace between 7.30pm and 8.00pm
Does what it says on the tin!

We will meet at Trash Palace on Wardour St, take a stroll down to Trash Palace before moving off on a tour of Soho venues. This is a real pub crawl, no more than 30/40 minutes in each bar.

There are several options for a finishing point. G-A-Y (Porn Idol), Ghetto (Frat Party) or Heaven.

Stonewall Recruitment Guide Launch
Stonewall's annual lesbian & gay recruitment guide is packed with interview tips, advice for jobseekers and over 250 gay-friendly employers.

The launch of the 2007/08 guide takes place on Tuesday 30 October 6.30-8.30pm, at University of London Union (ULU).

Free wine, guide and goodie bag.

This event is by RSVP only. Space is limited so if you are interested in attending send an email to workplace@stonewall.org.uk to reserve your spot today.

Met LGBT Meeting - IMPORTANT
Tuesday 6th November - TMG-47 (Tower Main, North Campus) 7pm
This meeting will be the AGM of the Society. This is the annual meeting where people are elected to be officers (positions listed below). We will also use this meeting to plan all events between now and Christmas - so you should come! Have your say and then get q-jump at Ghetto afterwards!
